1. I grew up in Idaho
2. When I was eight I wrote in my journal that I wanted to grow up and live on a horse ranch in Texas.
3. I’ve accomplished half of that.
4. I love Texas
5. I am afraid of EVERYTHING, initially, then I get over it
6. When I am worried or stressed I have freak show nightmares that I tend to act out during the night. You can often find me dressed differently in the morning than when I went to bed
7. I have a Teaching certificate in Social Studies Secondary Education
8. I taught Middle School for three years- It was an alternative middle school and I loved it, I would never teach anywhere else.
9. I LOVE teaching, it is my favorite thing to do.
10. I wanted to be a lawyer and the First Woman President when I was growing up.
11. Neither of which I know I will never accomplish. I am totally okay with that.
12. I also never wanted to have children when I grew up.
13. Sometimes I feel that my infertility is a punishment for not wanting kids when I was younger. (I know its not true, but sometimes I wonder)
14. When I was 14 I had a fabulous young women's leader that gave a lesson on the importance of being a mother and that’s when I changed my mind about having kids. I then decided I wanted six.
15. I have one, a beautiful daughter.
16. I was molly Mormon growing up.
17. I’ve only kissed four people. Dylan was the best kisser.
18. I was waiting for a missionary when I met Dylan.
19. We met in institute choir. Dylan claims he was inspired to join.
20. He also claims I joined choir to meet guys, this is NOT true. That’s his reason not mine. I really wanted to be in choir.
21. I love singing, but I know I don’t have a great voice.
22. That’s why I only sing in choirs or with other people. Too many solos and then realizing I’m not that great.
23. I love music.
24. I love Celine Dion, Michael Buble and Maroon 5 these are my favorites
25. I just love GOOD music
26. I play the piano, but hate practicing. Thus, I can mostly play hymns. I love playing, but when I play in front of other people I get really nervous. So nervous the piano shakes, my whole body shakes. Not a good thing.
27. I love public speaking. I do not get nervous doing this. I still aspire to someday be an EFY speaker or something of the like.
28. When Dylan and I met I was taking courses to become a seminary teacher.
29. I left the program shortly after we married because I wanted to have children, and if you are a woman and have children you are not allowed to teach Seminary full-time until your children are grown.
30. When I got to substitute seminary I LOVED it!!!
31. I am a worry wort.
32. I blame this on losing my father at such a young age and having to grow up too quickly.
33. I never fully appreciated my step-father until I moved away from home. I was a brat! Sorry, Dad.
34. I always had to have a boyfriend in High School. I look back and think that was dumb.
35. I also think waiting for a missionary is dumb. (Sorry to all my friends that married their missionaries.)
36. I procrastinate and let things pile up
37. I work better with a close deadline
38. I purposely plan things at my house so I have to clean
39. If you stop by randomly during the day you will see:
a. A pile of dirty dishes
b. Me in some sort of work-out clothes or pajamas
c. Me with no bra
d. Me with no make-up
e. Me not showered

41. I really truly would do anything for you. That’s how I was raised.
42. Many Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners spent with people I didn’t know, that my Dad had found had nowhere to go for the Holidays.
43. If you ever came to my house growing up, you usually never left empty handed. My parents are still that way.
44. I love pulling weeds!!! It is so relaxing to me.
45. I love ironing, but I never do it.
46. I love the mountains and camping when its WARM outside.
47. I love fishing
48. I love gutting Fish, but I hate eating them
49. I love hiking
50. I love nature in general
51. My dream vacation would be Me and Dylan and Claire a Beach House, good books, a week of sitting on the beach, playing cards, reading, making sand castles and no one else.
52. I have serious body issues
53. I was told growing up that I was fat—I was not
54. I would give anything to weigh what I did when we got married
55. I love eating out
56. I love dessert
57. I hate weighing 215 lbs
58. I hate running
59. I love walking
60. I hate Texas water
61. I drink way too much soda, because I have Texas water phobia
62. I love getting my hair washed and cut
63. It’s the one thing that will pull me out of a funk
64. I feel like I have no style and am kind of lost in that department
65. I always want to look “cute” but I don’t think I know what “cute” is
66. Cute on 120 lbs is not cute on 215lbs here is where my dilemma lies
67. I want more than anything to walk into any store and pick something out in my size
68. I hate shopping in the Womans department
69. For the longest time I thought 18W meant size 18wide, not size 18 womans
70. I would love to live back East, Boston, NYC, DC. I know I would love it
71. I have always wanted to serve a mission.
72. Someday I will, with or without Dylan
73. My favorite color has always been Red
74. Sometimes I wonder if my favorite color is Brown, I have a lot of brown
75. Before I had Claire I never wore pink
76. When I found out I was having a girl that dramatically changed
77. Pink is now one of my favorite colors to wear
78. I really like green too
79. I travelled abroad to Egypt, Jordan and Israel when I was 19
80. When I came home I cried, we are so blessed.
81. I would give anything to take my Husband there.
82. The Red Sea isn’t really red, its blue and its so blue I can’t even describe the color other than beautiful
83. I got Pharaoh’s Revenge when I was there.
84. I still had it 3 months after I got home
85. It really stunk- literally :D My friends on the trip wrote me a poem about it.
86. I would give anything to travel around the world.
87. I love culture and geography and studying the way people live
88. I was married when I was 20, a few months shy of 21
89. Dylan I met in October, were engaged in January, and got married in March
90. There have been times that I have wondered if we rushed things
91. I love my husband
92. He has taught me more about myself and the love of my Heavenly Father than anyone else
93. I love home decorating
94. I love crafts
95. I wish I had a budget to support these habits
96. I am a do-it-youselfer
97. Since moving to Texas I have developed a shopping addiction, dang Texas
98. I’m trying to quit
99. I love grocery shopping, creating my menu and shopping list
100. I hate cooking what I put on the menu
